adramyti - Seaport of Asia Minor in the Turkish vilayet of Balikesir. It stands at the head of the gulf of the same name opposite Mitylene, and 80 m. N. of Ismir. The ancient Adramyttum was close by. Olive trees abound in the vicinity. The Gulf of Adramyti is an arm of the Aegean Sea.
