The group includes (i) Ranunculus lenormandii Schultz, (Locally common plant) more local with larger flowers and leaves and beak of fruit more terminal, less lateral; and (ii) Ranunculus lutarius (Revel) Bouvet, (Scarce plant) uncommon, with leaves rather deeply lobed and the base of the fruit hairy.
