accomplice - One who assists another in the commission of a erime. An accomplice may be an aider and abettor or an accessory. The evidence of accomplices is always admissible against a prisoner, but the judge should advise the jury that it is dangerous to convict on such evidence if not corroborated. The evidence of other accomplices is not corrobor-ation, and evidence offered as corroboration need not prove that the prisoner committed the crime.
